On Monday 19 January at 15:00 Minister of Culture Václav Jehlička addressed the Committee on Culture and Education of the European Parliament in Brussels, where he introduced the Czech priorities in the area of culture.
Priorities of Ministry of Culture for Czech Presidency of the European Union
Culture is one of the basic components of EU member states´ identity. During the EU Presidency, the Czech Republic will primarily focus on the implementation of the European Programme for Culture and the Working Plan for Culture for the period 2008 – 2010.
