Support for Publishing Czech Literature Abroad - Translations
The Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic - Department of Arts and Libraries subsidizes foreign publishers for the translation of literary works by Czech authors. The following genres qualify for support: poetry, prose fiction, plays, children´s and youth literature. Priority will be given to contemporary writing. Grants can only be awarded to foreign publishers. Deadline: November 15th, 2009
Activities of the Literature and Libraries Division
The Literature and Libraries Division fulfils the tasks of the Ministry as the central governmental link for the area of literature, book culture, non-periodical press and librarianship.
