Membership of the Czech Republic in Most Important International Copyright Conventions and Treaties
- Convention establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO/OMPI) with the headquarters at Geneva; the Czech Republic has been a member since January 1, 1993 (formerly, Czechoslovakia since July 22, 1970)
- Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works of September 8, 1886 (the 1971 Paris Act); CR has been a member since January 1, 1993 (formerly, Czechoslovakia since February 22, 1921)
- International Convention for the Protection of Performers, Producers of Phonograms and Broadcasting Organizations concluded in Rome on October 26, 1961; the Czech Republic since January 1, 1993 (formerly Czechoslovakia since August 14, 1964)
- The Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights concluded in the framework of the Convention establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization on April 15, 1994 in Marrakesh; the Czech Republic has been a member since 1995.
- WIPO Copyright Treaty (Geneva 1996). The Treaty came into force on March 6, 2002.
- WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty (Geneva 1996). The Treaty came into force on May 20, 2002.
